Sunday Intellectual Discussion: Thanksgiving

This weekend in Canada we are celebrating Thanksgiving. It is a time to reflect on the year and all the people, and things we are thankful for. We also eat a lot of turkey.

Today’s question is a simple one:

What are you most thankful for?

I have a lot to be thankful for: wonderful & loving wife, four beautiful children, a warm house, a great job working with fantastic people... but you asked "Most" thankful for.

I am most thankful for my Saviour, Jesus Christ, who took away my MANY sins and has promised me eternal life with him all out of his mercy. That's what I am MOST thankful for!

Most thankful: salvation by grace through faith - not by works.

Also thankful for the many blessings in my life.

thanks guys! What wonderful things to be thakful for.
I am thankful for good in our lives ... sometimes its hard to see past all the troubles big and small so when something good comes along it makes me pause and take stock. Every good and perfect gift comes from the father of the heavenly lights ...

We are thankful for many things too...lving family, food, warm bed at night, successful employment, hockey, hockey and more hockey, however the thing we are most thankful for is a loving Saviour who is always with us no matter what we do.
