Sunday Intellectual Discussion: Love and Lost

For my first question in a long time I thought I would take my cue from the poets:

Is it better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all?

I think we may be of varying opinions depending on our stage in life but that would make it all the more interesting. Let me know what you think.

"Better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all..."

Hmmm... that is an interesting question to put forth this fall. I loved once. She always looked at me with the deepest affection and love, nuzzling close to me whenever I was down. She stole my heart from an early age and wouldn't give it back. I loved once, and its hard to think back on those days... to think about what I have lost... but then again your dogs never do live as long as people! ;-)

But indeed, it is better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all! Everyone needs a wet nose in the crotch once in a while!
